According to the information, in the last week of December, big leaders of the party had discussed about when Rahul Gandhi’s second Bharat Jodo Yatra would take place and on which route. According to the discussion in that meeting, this yatra of Rahul Gandhi will start from Porbandar in Gujarat and reach Parshuram Kund in Arunachal Pradesh. Sources associated with the Congress party say that the draft of the rough route plan for this yatra has also been discussed.

Party sources say that as per the plan, the yatra starting from Porbandar, passing through Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Orissa and West Bengal, passing through all the northeastern states, will end at Surajkund in Arunachal Pradesh. There are also some discussions regarding the dates for starting this journey. Senior leaders associated with the Congress party say that when Rahul Gandhi’s yatra started from Kanyakumari on September 7 last year, the party’s general secretary Jairam Ramesh had discussed some dates as to what the plan for the second yatra was. At present, the beginning of the second phase of Bharat Jodo Yatra is being estimated along with those dates.
