Harry Potter on TV: Warner Bros TV CEO Channing Dungey has shared that a TV series based on the mega-popular book and film series ‘Harry Potter’ could be on the way soon. “There’s tremendous ambition for this,” the Warner Bros. TV CEO said, “and we’re engaged in a number of different conversations,” eonline.com reports.
He added, “I wish I could tell you there was something imminent on the horizon but there’s a lot of interest and a lot of passion for it”.
However, Dungey said he is optimistic about the future, stressing: “We’re just trying to figure out what the next right step is.”
In the past year, Warner Bros. TV, which includes networks such as HBO, TBS, TNT, truTV, and CNN, has begun dabbling in Harry Potter content.
