Covid-19: Infection increased by nine times in five weeks, Health Ministry advice – pay special attention to these four ‘t’ – India Recorded A Single-day Rise Of 1,590 Fresh Coronavirus Cases, Latest Covid News And Updates In Hindi

The cases of corona infection are once again seen gaining momentum across the country. In the last 24 hours, infection has been confirmed in 1590 people, 6 infected have also died. This is the highest number of cases of corona in a single day in 146 days. According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, there has been a nine-fold increase in cases of infection in the country in the last five weeks. In view of the increasing risk of infection, the Ministry advised all the states to pay special attention to the ‘Four T’ (Test-Track-Treat-Vaccination) and adherence to Covid-appropriate behavior to combat Covid.

The XBB.1.16 sub-variant of Omicron, which is believed to be responsible for the rising cases in the country, has a higher infectivity rate than other variants. The ability of this new variant to dodge the immune scape i.e. the immunity made in the body makes it worrying in many cases. There are reports of sudden increase in cases of infection from different states as well.

Increased infection figures in states

As per the data shared by the health department, Delhi recorded 152 new coronavirus cases on Friday with a positivity rate of 6.66 per cent. Earlier on Thursday, 117 people were found infected. Earlier in October, more than 100 cases were registered in Delhi in a single day.

Similarly, 343 new Kovid infections and three deaths were reported in Maharashtra on Friday. Now the number of active cases in Maharashtra has increased to 1,763.
