A horrific road accident took place in UP’s Unnao district on Monday. DCM bus going to Nepal collided on Lucknow-Agra Expressway. On the expressway near the toll plaza of Auras police station area, due to the drunkenness of the driver, the DCM going to Lucknow collided with a high-speed sleeper bus carrying potatoes.
Four people, including a woman traveling in the bus, died in the accident. While eight passengers were seriously injured. There was hue and cry on the spot after the incident. The bus was completely damaged in the accident. It is being told that the accident happened at around 3 am. The bus was going from Rajkot to Nepal. There were 80 passengers in the bus at the time of the incident. One of the injured has been referred to Lucknow and the rest to Unnao for treatment. On the information of the accident, DM, SP and other officers gave necessary guidelines regarding relief and rescue work. Police is trying to identify the dead.
