The Ministry of External Affairs condemned the statement issued by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) regarding India on Tuesday. Ministry spokesman Arindam Bagchi said that we strongly condemn the statement of OIC. This is yet another example of their communal mindset and anti-India agenda.
What did OIC say?
In fact, the Secretariat of the OIC issued a statement expressing deep concern over acts of violence and vandalism targeting minority communities in several states of India during Ram Navami processions. The statement also referred to the destruction of religious places by the mob. The statement also referred to the incident that took place in Biharsharif on March 31. This information has come to the fore by quoting some media reports.
