Helmed by ad filmmaker Arun Gopalan, John Abraham’s next film titled Tehran is inspired by true events. The story has been penned down by Ritesh Shah and Ashish Prakash Verma.
Speaking to a leading daily, John Abraham has shared how he will veer his way and delve deep into the shooting of Tehran in Iran, soon after he has wrapped up his schedule in Pathaan alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone.
“I begin shooting the film in June in Iran. We are ready to go, our director is outdoors doing the recce. I will dub for Villain, then shoot for Pathaan, which goes till April. Then I finish all my prior commitments till May and start the film in June.”
On probing him to give more clarity on what his upcoming geo political thriller promises to deliver, he shed light on how it is a solid storyline and will be intriguing for those who are inclined to comprehend better about the Russian-Ukrainian War.
“If you’re invested in the Russia-Ukraine crisis, wonder what China is doing, what Iran is doing, where does Palestine fit in this whole thing, Tehran is about all of this. It’s a stunning film.”
Other than Dinesh Vijan’s Tehran, John Abraham has Mohit Suri’s Ek Villain Returns and Yash Raj Films’ Pathaan in the pipeline.
