New Delhi: With films like ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’, ‘Luka Chuppi’, ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’ and many more, Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan has emerged as a big star. Currently he is preparing for the release of the upcoming film ‘Freddy’. Like his 2021 film ‘Dhamaka’, ‘Freddy’, which is a psychological thriller, will also release directly on OTT. The actor recently took to social media to share how he prepared for his part.
On Tuesday, Kartik shared a behind the scenes video of the film, in which he is seen in his titular character of a dentist. For the physical aspects of the role, the video shows him bulking up and gaining 14 kg and messing with dental instruments to see how they can be used on patients To make the role believable.
He wrote in the caption, “From gaining 14 kilos to going to a real clinic and learning skills from a dentist. Being Freddy has been an unforgettable journey for me.. to forget my real self, mental and physical.” It’s a pleasure to push my boundaries physically and work with an amazing team for this challenging on-screen transformation.”
In the video, viewers can see Kartik slowly transforming into dentist Dr. Freddy Jeenawala, as he works on his body language and gets into the mind of Freddy, a shy and psychotic dentist. From thinking to dressing up to changing his hairstyle, Kartik Aaryan can be seen transforming for the role.
The makers of ‘Freddy’ have been sharing little mini-clips and teasers to give a glimpse into Freddy’s world, but are yet to release the trailer of the film. Moreover, the songs of the film are already doing extremely well with Kartik Aaryan yet again setting a trend this time with the chopper step from the track, ‘Kala Jadoo’.

‘Freddy’ will arrive on the OTT platform Disney Plus Hotstar on December 2.
Kartik recently treated his fans with the first look of ‘Shehzada’ on his birthday. He will also be seen in ‘Aashiqui 3’ and Kabir Khan’s next film ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’.
