In Kerala, two railway police officers have reached Noida in search of the accused who set fire to a moving train near Kozhikode district on Sunday night. If sources are to be believed, the accused is said to be a resident of Noida and Haryana. At the same time, the NIA team and the Anti-Terrorism Squad are also involved in the investigation of the case. The investigation team has recovered a bag from near the railway track yesterday. Along with this, the police has prepared a sketch of the suspect.

Significantly, on Sunday night in Kerala, near Elathur in Kozhikode district, an unknown person set a moving train on fire by sprinkling petrol on a co-passenger. A total of three people died in this incident, including a mother-daughter. The bodies of both were found on the track near Alathur railway station. About eight people were also injured in this incident, who were admitted to the hospital. The incident took place in the D1 compartment of the Alappuzha-Kannur Chief Executive Express around 10 pm.
