A police sub-inspector died after falling from a moving train in Maharashtra’s Thane district on Saturday. The incident took place near Kalwa station in Thane. The deceased sub-inspector was identified as Manoj Bhosle and was posted at Powai police station.

According to Thane GRP, the police officer tried to deboard the moving train at Kalwa railway station. During this he fell down and died. The body has been sent for postmortem, he said. Thane Railway Police has registered a case of accidental death and is probing the incident.
