A woman has been arrested for allegedly killing her three-day-old daughter in Maharashtra’s Latur. Gotegaon police said, the woman is a resident of Holi in Lohara tehsil of Osmanabad. He is being arrested and interrogated and the investigation into the incident is on.
The investigation so far has revealed that the woman already has a daughter and wanted a son, officials said. Due to the birth of a daughter for the second time also, she got upset and strangled her to death with a handkerchief. The woman gave birth to a baby girl at a primary health center in Kasar Jwala village.
