Ranbir Kapoor, Hitesh Bhatia and Ritesh Sidhwani promote Sharmaji Namkeen in Mumbai

Ranbir Kapoor, along with Hitesh Bhatia and Ritesh Sidhwani, was recently seen promoting his father Rishi Kapoor’s latest film, Sharmaji Namkeen. The Tamasha actor was spotted yesterday at one of the film’s promotional events in Mumbai.

It has been nearly two years since veteran actor Rishi Kapoor passed away. The late actor died before he could finish off his portions of Sharmaji Namkeen. Paresh Rawal stepped into his shoes to finish the film.

Ranbir also revealed that the filmmakers considered casting him in the film to finish the shoot. Due to his father’s untimely departure, the producers attempted VFX, leading Ranbir to try prosthetics in order to finish the film, but he wasn’t happy with the result. Ranbir was overjoyed when Paresh Rawal stepped in to ensure Rishi Kapoor’s last film was properly concluded.
