
Patrick Vieira has left his role as manager diamond palace Following a disappointing run of form that saw the club winless in their last 12 matches, the club made the announcement on Friday.
Vieira joined the club in 2021 and led the club to a 12th-place finish last season. Palace are now in 12th position Premier League But are just three points above the relegation zone.

Chairman Steve Parish said in a statement: “It is with great regret that this difficult decision has been made. Ultimately, results in recent months have placed us in a precarious league position and we felt that we would be given the best chance of retaining our Premier League status.” Change is necessary.
“That said, Patrick’s impact since joining us in the summer of 2021 has been significant, and he is held in the highest regard by me and all of his colleagues.
“He led the team to the semi-finals of the Wembley FA Cup and played some exciting football last season to a respectable 12th-place finish, which was a challenging and important campaign for the club as we went through changes before he arrived.”

Palace also said that Vieira’s coaching staff, Osian Roberts, Christian Wilson and Said Aigoun, have left the club. The club said that the process of appointing a new manager is underway.
Vieira’s Palace had suffered three consecutive 1–0 defeats prior to his departure, including against rivals Brighton and Hove Albion,
loss against first Manchester City, Aston Villa and a 0-0 draw against liverpool saw Palace fail to have a shot on target, the first time a Premier League team had achieved the three-game feat since the record began in 2003.
