The weather took a sudden turn on Saturday in Delhi-NCR including North India. Light to heavy rain occurred at many places and hailstorm also fell in some areas. Because of this the weather became pleasant and people forgot the heat. Intermittent rain and strong winds from morning to evening also brought down the temperature and the maximum temperature in the national capital was recorded five notches below normal. On the other hand, the Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for rain and thunderstorm on March 19 and 20. This change of weather will continue till March 21. During this, winds will blow at a speed of 30-40 kmph. The mercury will rise from 22nd March.
